Children's Museum

As you observant types will notice, these pics are "pre Charlotte haircut" so a little out of order... but I thought they were some fun pics we took a few weeks back at the Children's museum in Factoria. Who knew there was a MUSEUM in Factoria?

Ryan spent abou 3/4 of his time rocking this boat around.

Hey! It's Peter Dahlin! Small world!
(Don't Petey and Ry look like they could be cousins?)

What? BFF Riley is here too? Charlotte had a blast playing with Riley, and just goes to show you, on a rainy weekend day in Seattle, the world of parents gets really small.

This and That

The three Wood kids are all getting along very well these days. Two of them still wear matching PJ's whenever possible.

Barkley has just surpassed Charlotte in size.

Ryan practices up for the Wood Band.

Ryan's Encore

Ryan performs an encore... the video is only 6 seconds long, becuase I ran out of memory on the camera, but I think you get the idea of what the rest of the performance was like.

Yes, he's dancing to the classic children's song, "Mud On the Tires" by Brad Paisley.

There's a place I know about where the dirt road runs out
And we can try out the four-wheel drive
Come on now what do you say
Girl, I can hardly wait to get a little mud on the tires

Works of Art

Charlotte and Ryan have been loving their art projects. Ryan mostly just likes stirring the paint.

Charlotte also had her first "show and tell" at preschool this past week. She brought in her Baby Cinerella doll, and Pink Eared Puppy to share.

Picasso Lite

Did you know that pretty much ANYTHING can be an art project?
Here, "Momet" demonstrates the fine art of whip cream sculpturing.

The Magic of Truck Videos

Ryan was a little under the weather as we finished up 2007, and was blessing his parents with 5 AM wake-up calls, and some general crankiness. He is MUCH better now, and we are all very happy about that. During our more desperate moments we looked to YouTube to entertain our little truck loving boy...

We also added some video to the post about cousin Connor visiting...
Take a look by clicking here (and scrolling to the bottom of the post).

Holiday Fun

Ryan is turning into quite the jokester these days. He LOVES being a nut (shown above wearing dad's 3-D glasses) and "taunting" us by taking things like our keys or Charlotte's dolls and waving them in front of our eyes and laughing hysterically. Oh, and he still loves his trucks more than almost anything.

Charlotte had a WONDERFUL Christmas as well, shown above ogling her chocolate fish that she specifically asked Santa for, and showing off her new coat (thank you Gran Lloyd!) and tiara (thank you Ryan!).

She hooked St Nick and his reindeer up with cookies, milk, celery, and carrots on Christmas eve, and LOVED opening her stocking on Christmas morning.

She even had a spare moment to make some Christmas Fudge with her mom.
