A fun weekend at Double Island

We just had a really fun weekend up at Double Island recently, with Cousin Connor, his folks, Chris and Andrea. We caught a TON of crab, and the kids had a blast.

Charlotte LOVES driving aound in the boats. Specially when she can eat her snacks...

...while mommy and Ryan took turns driving!

Young Teeth

We have to log as many FIRSTS here at the Wood Family Blog. So here is documentation of Charlotte's FIRST DENTIST VISIT. She was a REALLY good patient, and even got to pick a toy out of the treasure chest for herself, and brother Ryan.

Tutu much

Poor Ryan... he only has a sister to play with at home, and sometimes, she just has to dress him in a tutu. We even caught a little on video that you can see, if you must, by clicking here.

COUSINS!

This past week, Charlotte and Ryan were visited by their favorite McKinzie cousins, Colin and Gavin! Aunt Tini and Nana Mary also joined in the fun! The cousins did everything together...

They even just LOUNGED AROUND together.

Every now and then they let the grownups have some fun too.

And everyone had a blast riding in a surrey (with a fringe on top) and playing at Alki Beach.

Father's Day and Mommy Charlotte

We had a WONDERFUL time today celebrating father's day. Not only did Kara, Charlotte, and Ryan let me pick out my own father's day present at Archie McPhees' (a real nice bigfoot action figure, large thermometer, and a Royal Postal jacket) but we had a nice time in Ballard and dined on some really good Mexican food.

Oh, and we even had a photo booth at Archie McPhee's take some wacky pictures of the four of us.

Oooh yes, Archie McPhee's, really good times.

Charlotte has also been a very good mommy to her baby doll, mimicking everything that HER mommy does when she takes care of Ryan. In fact, just this morning Charlotte let out a loud "grooooan" as she picked her up her doll from the floor. She really gets every detail. As you can see by the picture, she also takes being a mommy VERY seriously.

Ryan entertains

Charlotte and Ryan had some special visitors these past few weeks.

FIRST, Uncle John spent the weekend in Seatte. Up from Newport Beach, John is shown here playing with Ry-ry, both attired in their favorite casual wear.
